CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION - SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS

School Resource Officers (SRO's) are assigned to schools within Spalding County. School Resource Officers teach  the C.H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) Mentoring Program. School Resource Officers work with students and school administrators in an effort to promote safety in, and around, their assigned schools. SRO's meet with Juvenile Investigators to share information and network, in an effort to maximize service to our schools and youth. Our School Resource Officers are constantly reaching out to children and students to foster healthy relationships with Spalding County’s youth.
