In August 2018 the Spalding County Sheriff's Office fielded our mobile command post. This asset, purchased with seized drug funds, will allow personnel from the Sheriff's Office, Spalding County Fire, and other local public safety to have on site command and control due to a natural disaster, manmade disaster, critical incident, or large event. From the command post personnel will have radio communications, weather monitoring equipment, computers, internet access, GCIC capabilities, drone deployment control, and other options.
