CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION - JUVENILE INVESTIGATIONS
The Juvenile Investigation Division is led by Captain Frank Clark.
This division investigates all crimes committed against juveniles
and crimes committed by juveniles. The incidents typically investigated
by the Juvenile Division are for example: Child Sex Crimes, Cruelty
to Children, Unruly Juveniles, Exploitation, as well as other juvenile
related cases. Investigators conduct interviews, follow up on cases,
complete case files and testify in court. Investigators also work
closely with juvenile advocates and the Southern Crescent Child
Advocacy Center for forensic interviews and assistance. Investigators
also work closely with five
School Resource Officers
who are assigned to the Juvenile Division. When not working an active
case, our juvenile investigators are out in the community working
hard to maintain a healthy relationship with our youth.
