ABOUT MAJOR KEITH DUNCAN

    Major Keith Duncan is a Spalding County native. He began his career with the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office in 1986 as a Detention Officer. After spending a year working in Detention, he was transferred to the Uniform Patrol Division and attended the Clayton County Regional Police Academy.
    While serving in Uniform Patrol, Duncan was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Major Duncan was transferred to the Fugitive Apprehension Unit in 2001, and quickly rose through the ranks to Captain. Major Duncan supervises thirteen sworn officers, including the Court Services Unit, as well as three Administrative Support staff. He holds a supervision certification through the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.
