The Annual Spalding County Kiwanis Fair is held each year in October. The Sheriff's Office is represented every year at the fair by Junior Deputy Mentors to build relationships with Spalding County citizens. The Sheriff's Office Junior Deputy Program always has a booth set up. Kids stop by and get a badge sticker so they can be a Jr. Deputy for the day. During the week long event, hundreds of people stop by the booth to talk and get giveaway items.
