The Sheriff's Office Hero 5K Run/Walk is held each year as a fundraiser for the Sheriff's Junior Deputy Program. Each year the event gets larger and larger with runners and walkers who come out on a Saturday morning in September to not only exercise but to help the program. Medals are awarded for the top three runners in each age bracket. It is always a fun and exciting day!
