COMMUNITY OUTREACH - HOLIDAY MEALS
Each shift, both in Uniform Patrol and Detention Divisions, selects
a needy family to provide a dinner to. This is a total of eight
families and usually around forty or fifty people. This program
is usually done the weekend prior to Christmas. The Sheriffs Office
buys the dinners. This program is possible because of the generous
donations from our community. The Deputies meet at the Sheriffs
Office as a team, gathers their food and delivers it out to the
families. The Deputies also take time talking with the families
and wishing them a Merry Christmas.
